TRAVEL

Getting to Daydream Island

Travelling to Daydream Island is relatively straightforward, the most efficient route is flying directly to Hamilton Island Airport (✈️ HTI). Flights typically take around 2.5 hours (from ✈️ SYD). From Hamilton Island, a 30-minute ferry operated by Cruise Whitsundays will take you directly to Daydream Island, where you will be met by the Daydream Island resort staff.

We are able to provide a 50% discount for your ferry transfers. To access the discount, please contact the Daydream Island reservations team no later than a week prior to your arrival and let them know you’re attending our wedding. Staying on Daydream Island

For the most convenient and relaxing experience, we recommend staying on Daydream Island itself. The wedding will take place at 3pm on Thursday, 12th March 2026, so we suggest arriving on Wednesday (Jessica & David will be staying until Sunday). You're welcome to book directly through the resort (see discount below), or you may find more competitive rates through trusted travel resellers. The resort recommends to book no later than 6 months prior to the event.
